Talk Radio & Podcasts sound much better, especially thru earbuds, with this edit.
You will also find it easier to hear audio details in loud environments.
If you have good speakers, or listen in a quite environment, you don't need this.

2) This encode will also use much less power from your batteries.

3) I have been experimenting lately with mixing in a small amount of white noise
in the final rendering to get rid of those awkward silences that the MP3 format
sometimes creates when there's not enough volume to compress.

4) I now include any Instagram pics talked about during the show.

Thanks! Well, I'm usually not a fan of high compressions as it can be mentally fatiguing, like with most sports radio stations. I like original dynamics like people talking in a room normally, to listen with headphones. You're getting high acclaim for your efforts, so I'm sure it's good, thanks for your attention to detail.
